Persimmon Catfish

23:39
This week on the Carolina Outdoor Journal we’ll fish a pond for Channel Catfish using persimmon fruit as bait. Cliff Edwards calls Paul Shuey with a unique fishing opportunity. He’s seen some big cats picking off these small fruits as they fall from a tree on the lakeshore, and sure enough they get some great fishing. In gear time they discuss how to take advantage of this food source, and Donna Reynolds cooks up a creamy polenta dish in the kitchen.
