Smatrinsko Lake Slovenia – Part 1

27:56
Catch the Trophy visits Smatrinsko Lake to begin their two-part trip to Slovenia in search of a monster Carp. After hearing rumours of a 35kg specimen, the crew arrive in force to one of the country’s biggest fisheries. Despite its size, Smatrinsko is wild and beautiful, and it takes hours of exploration to find the narrow channels of hardened ground where the fish like to feed. With the help of big baits and stealthy rigs, their preparation pays off as the crew get ready for the session of a lifetime.
