Join Paul, friend Tom Champain and his son Jet, as they fish for Barramundi on the Daly River, which is the largest river catchment in the Northern Territory. Deciding to have a friendly competition Tom and Paul must fish with handlines whilst Jet has the distinct advantage being able to use a rod and reel. After catching and releasing a huge 1m long Barra whilst trolling, the guys retreat to a back eddy to throw some lures and try find a couple of table sized fish as they make such good eating. Its easy to see why Barramundi are Australia's national fish and so revered by sport anglers as they fight like tigers, often going aerial and can grow to 100lbs. The Daly River is one of many amazing catchments for Barramundi fishing in the Northern Territory and its easy to see why after watching this.
