Host Randy Bowser heads a couple hours down the coast in search of Calkini Tarpon. On the journey there, he points out some lesser known places of historic interest that can still de discovered in this part of Mexico, such as a rope factory dating from the 19th century, that even though it's in a rather sorry state of repair, still conveys a magical charm. The Clakini Bioshphere Reserve is an area of mangrove lined lagoons and channels that is a protected, unspoilt natural habitat. Randy's after the Tarpon that can be found here, and spots a shoal of 'Sabalitos" or baby Tarpon rolling. But these hard fighting fish are always elusive and it takes plenty of effort to boat one.
