Crucian Carp
(1)

24:09
Crucian Carp aren't big but they are certainly beautiful and are highly prized by the UK's coarse anglers. In this episode, Des Taylor heads over to the home of crucians, Johnson Lake in Surrey.  Johnson Lake has produced some magnificent fish in the past producing many 3 and 4lbers so can Des beat his PB of 3lb 9oz today? Conditions aren't perfect but after carefully selecting his swim on the windward bank, Des gets his rods out and explains the various methods and tactics he will use to target the lake's specimen crucian carp. Plagued by tench at first, Des changes tactics late in the day and manages to find the crucians but can he break his PB? To watch, just login or register now
