Win a family fishing holiday in France! This is such an amazing prize, especially if like us, you struggle to justify all your fishing trips to the rest of your family.

We’ve teamed up with the owners of a stunning farmhouse in France to offer you lucky FishingTV members the chance to win a family holiday in the Novelle-Aquitaine region, right on the banks of the River Lot.

The house, which is called Lasclottes, is a recently renovated 19th Century farm near the village of Penne D’Agenais, set in 5 acres of private land, complete with a swimming pool, games area, and, most importantly, direct access to the banks of the River Lot, which forms one of the property’s boundaries.

The river is known to hold carp to 60lb and catfish to over 100lb, as well teeming with pike, perch, chub, black bass, black bream, roach, tench, orfe and barbel, so there really is something for everyone – even the fly boys and girls can target some of those predators!

The house’s river front is 150m long and there is also a boat available to anglers, as well as the chance to hire specialist fishing guides and boats. There’s also a local tackle shop 5km away, where you can get lots of advice.

There are, however, no pictures that we can share of catches from the Lasclottes water, since it hasn’t been fished yet – pure virgin water! That said, the Lot is one of France’s premium coarse fishing rivers so you should be pretty sure of a good week’s fishing – who knows what you might haul out!

The house accommodates six or seven people in 3 double rooms and 1 twin, and as well as the fishing, there’s a heap of other activities in the local area, from golf and wine tasting to cycling, canoeing, go karting and horse riding. Or you can just all chill out on the riverbank and by the pool.

There’s local bars, restaurants and all sorts of events like live music and fireworks taking place over the summer. You can also visit the nearby chateau, watch chariot racing at the Hippodrome, peruse the local markets and loads more.

The prize also includes up to £500 towards your flights, and your fishing permits for the week.

What’s more, if you don’t want to wait, or if you don’t win, FishingTV members will get a 10% discount on 2018 holidays booked after 1st February by quoting ‘FishingTV’ at the time of booking.

Terms and conditions
This promotion is open to all Fishing TV registered aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Fishing TV, their agents or anyone who is professionally associated with this promotion.

To enter, you must be a member of Fishing TV and completed the entry form.

Only one entry per person. duplicate entries will be disqualified.

The Promoter will not be liable for applications not received, incomplete, delayed, damaged or not included in the judging panel for any technical reasons. No bulk or third party entries accepted.

The prizes consist of a one week fishing holiday for up to 7 people at Lasclottes plus a £500 transport allowance and fishing licences. The prize can be taken in May, June, September or October 2018, subject to availability.

The winners must provide all their own fishing equipment and bait.

The promotion is open between 15:00 16th January 2018 and Midnight 31st March 2018

The winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries.

The Prize is as stated and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged. There is no cash alternative. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond their control.

The winners will be notified within 7 working days of the closing date via email. In the event of the prize not being claimed by emailing Fishing TV within 14 working days, the promoter reserves the right to draw an alternative winner.

By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the rules and the winners consent to participate in any reasonable publicity required for and on behalf of the promoter.
