It's the final showdown. Six anglers started the on this journey, this epic quest for greatness, this bid for Carp Wars glory.
Jerry Hammond was the first to fall, with Mark Bryant and Ian Chillcott falling soon after. Ian Russell nearly made it all the way but was just beaten at the bell in the final group match.
In the end it was Dave Lane and the young challenger Harry Pratt who came out on top after the group stages, and it is they who made the journey to Etang Le Fays in France for the 48-hour final. And this really is it, what it's all been about. Winner takes all.
