Urban Fishing – The Wandle
(1)

39:31
When we think of fishing we often think of remote, rural locations, but our cities and towns often hide fishing secrets that you'd never dream of, right on our doorsteps. In this pilot episode full-time fireman and Londoner Phil Morton shows us the delights to be found in the Wandle, a chalkstream which flows through the heart of London. Phil shares the tactics and watercraft that he uses to catch a range of species in this special urban waterway.

Well shot, informative film showing float and leger tactics on the Wandle. If you fish the river you’ll recognise the swims he fishes. Nicely done and I picked up a few tips I’ll try next time.
