It’s mid-August and Paul is in southern Alaska. It’s a great time because in the estuaries the Silver Salmon or Coho are just about to enter the Alagnak River. Chrome bright and fresh from the sea, these fish are reckoned to be the hardest fighting of all Pacific Salmon and their sporting qualities are renown, especially when taken on the fly.
