Ashley Rae loves to fish and she's been doing it most of her life. But it's only recently that she's discovered the thrill of sitting for hours on a frozen sheet of ice in the middle of winter. In this beautifully shot record of one season's campaign, across the Land O' Lakes in Ontario, Canada she teams up with a number of local experts to demonstrate the range of methods that can be used. From dropping on to a small lake by helicopter for some lightweight jigging for Brook Trout, to employing all the modern technology in an attempt to catch a trophy Walleye.
