In late winter, where better to spend a day, than the middle of one of the largest lakes in America's North West, exposed to freezing cold winds in the hope of catching a Kokanee or two. Host Cody Herman with buddies Austin Moser and Duane Inglin are doing just that. They're on Lake Roosevelt formed by the Grand Coulee Dam impoundment of the Columbia River. They know that the Kokanee like clear water and are boat shy so they are trolling at distance using as much high-vis terminal tackle as possible, plenty of blades, UV and pink. For some reason the Kokanee aren't interested... but the Rainbow Trout are!
