Marion Lake in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon benefits every year from around 70 volunteers helping to stock it with 10,000 hatchery fish. At 5,000 ft and surrounded by unspoilt forest and mountains it is quite difficult to reach, so all the fish have to be taken by backpack. Host Cody Herman is one of many anglers who make the same trip but with the intention of catching a few of the Rainbow and Brook Trout. Camping beside the lake he and cameraman Samuel Pyke pass on their tips for a successful expedition, which includes cooking the catch on the open campfire.
