Kokanee are closely related to the Sockeye Salmon. The main difference is that they are non-migratory and spend their whole lives in freshwater, they are also much smaller only growing to around 12". Yale Reservoir in Washington state is full of them, so host Cody Herman teams up with local guide Cameron Black to take us through the basics of how to target Kokanee. He explains rod and reel choice and how to adapt your bait and terminal tackle to suit the conditions found on the day.
