Host Charlie Wray uses a host of clever gadgets to target deep water Walleye and has great success with his spin and glow harnesses. Then heads to Lake St Claire with wife Terri where they use some unusual tactics, such as planer boards and line counter reels to catch some monster Musky.
Here Charlie visits two locations, first he's on Reindeer Lake where he demonstrates some clever tactics when using flatfish lures to target the monster Lake Trout lurking on the bottom. Then he's on the Bay of Quinte, Ontario where he follows the bait fish and employs slightly different tactics to catch some huge Walleye.
Charlie is out on Lake Ontario with Dave Duffin and son Noah trolling spinners for Lake Trout, until a heavy storm puts an end to their session. Charlie then heads back out on his own and demonstrates how an agitator can prove irresistible to theses monster fish, as well as the odd salmon.
Winter in The Keys
Host Charlie Wray and wife Terri take a winter break to Key West, Florida and on a beautiful still day can see the King Mackerel take their lures from just under the surface. These fish are full of energy and put up a fantastic fight. Charlie's blue back mackerel lure is particularly successful.
Fraser River Family Fun
Charlie joins legendary guide Len Ames and father and son team of Rex and Brett Nelson on the Fraser River. After they have all caught at least one Sturgeon each it is young Brett who hooks the fish of a lifetime with a monster at around 300lbs. They then switch to lighter tackle and have great fun jigging for Pink Salmon, with similar success. Plenty of technical advice and techniques.
