World Fishing Day – Hour 14

Hour 14 of World Fishing Day gets underway, and Welsh actor Julian Lewis Jones joins Rob Hughes in the studio. First up, we go to the USA for the first time, with legendary angler Capt Bubba Bedre as he gets started in his quest to catch the prehistoric looking Aligator Gar. Back in Germany, Babs Kijewski meets fish scientist, Dr Robert Arlinghaus who talks about the habitat improvement work they have been doing in gravel pits and the work he is doing to study angling. We go back to Rae Borras in Iceland as he finishes his morning session for salmon and heads to the airport to come back to the London studio. In Essex, the fish are back on the feed and two contestants are taking advantage. Is it a two horse race already?
