Alex and Carl Smith are two angling-mad brothers from Sussex who have developed a huge YouTube following since they began making videos in 2010.

We are thrilled that we can make several of their videos available to FishingTV members for free. 

Although they cut their teeth as carp and coarse anglers, in 2015 they made a trip across to British Columbia in Canada to film with fellow YouTube star ‘Fishing with Rod’ Canada where they had a chance to try various spinning techniques while on the hunt for salmon.

Their main quarry, however, were the ‘epic’ sturgeon that can be found in the estury of the Fraser River. If you’ve never seen one of these highly prized, prehistoric fish, some of which can grow to 10 feet long and can live to be over one hundred years old, this film is a must-watch.
